The University of Karachi boasts some 25,000 students enrolled in its evening and morning programmers combined. The students, majority of them girls, come from far-flung areas of the metropolis to attend the university. As well as Karachi University plays an important role in our education and provide us a standardized education. Evening student pays a huge amount of fees compare to morning. But it Is very wrong to say that there are some major problems faces by us evening students like transport problem, water shortage problem, and now a days another problem faced by students that due to non availability of funds or any other problem street lights would not opened at their time like in the night due to which the beautiful way of silver jubilee gate looks like a horrible way. My point was that if it is a KESC problem then, where are generators? Why they are not playing their role in a proper way? Why the high commands of faculties are not used them for students as they know that the students are facing that type of problem? but they are not doing anything. On other hand If we observed NED UNIVERSITY we saw that the street lights of main route of Ned opened all the time, although Ned have not evening schedule or evening classes. Similarly, the main road of KU is called a very busy road, despite of this the main route which is from Azadi Chowk to silver jubilee road is completely dark from 6:00 pm to onwards and on that time most of the evening students are present in university.
Yesterday there was totally dark in Karachi University because light gone at 7:00 pm and onwards. We student have a paper and we faced very difficulty in low light which was available by generators. And the beautiful way today also looks like horrible..!!
Sometimes a question arises in my mind that where we are?? What we do?? These are very little problems but It creates tensions in our mind, so we student becomes frustrated. And we are not able to study well..
Our youth becomes destroy..!!
Please it is my request to higher faculties to do some greater work on those problems….!!
i totally agree with u.
