KU – where else?

I frankly grasped the worth of Karachi University when I sipped a medium-size glass of banana shake at one of the nearby juice centres of my area. The shake cost me rs.100! The amount had me in fits and I could not think anything that time except of the juice centres of my ELITE institution.

For some reasons it may be silly to talk about such a negligible thing like juice centres, but honestly its worth beyond imaginations.

Can one imagine getting a large-size glass of banana shake in rs.20? If not, then one should do! The very famous juice centre near food science zone makes it happen. They do not only offer low rates but fresh and healthy juices. In fact at times, they offer free re-fills; exclusively for girls! Whereas in case of boys, all they have got to offer is plenty of crushed ice.

Not only the rates of banana shakes are low, but also of the rest of the juices like apple juice, date shake, sugar cane, pineapple shake and any seasonal fruit. The most expensive juice to be found in the mentioned juice centre is of worth rs.25!

People talk about recession, inflation and what not. Life goes upside down when there is a slight increase in the commodities. But when one sneaks a look in the territory of KU, abundance of positive things is to be witnessed.

KU is just not CHEAP in terms of juice canteens, but also when one talk about the crowd, university’s points (buses), classrooms, spitted walls, broken benches, fees and the list may go on and on.

Thus, one should always look at the brighter side of the cheapness that KU provides with which I bet none of the institutions can afford to attain it.
