Abundance

People may find my obsession with the word ‘abundance’ when I talk about University of Karachi; abundance of cheap crowds, low rates, political parties and what not. Eventually I realized not using the word ‘abundance’ with the breed of dogs, snakes, squirrels, chameleons and other different kinds of animal which I am not aware of  to be found in the vicinity.

I am an animal lover; I have got 7 cats living in my house (sadly, my mom is not a dog person). But I would love to pet a dog as they are the most trustworthy living thing alive so far on this so-called human-dominant planet.

It was an addition to my excitement when I came across the never ending quantity of dogs and puppies. Where ever you go, whatever department you standing in, you will never lack the opportunity of finding these creatures around. Sometimes they act friendly by just barking at your back and causing no harm; majority of the times you may find them running after yourself, chasing bikes and barking without any reason to let you know that they also hold the power.

I have even heard people talking about their dates being ruined. No, it is not due to the political party Jamiat who holds this responsibility, but THE DOGS! Jamiat has had not only trained people studying but also the creatures present within the boundaries which can carry their burden. I solely pity the couples who go through this torture every now and then and still reluctant to it.

Isn’t it so adventurous to study at a place where everything is found in abundance? And still people criticize University of Karachi?! This could probably be the factor ‘jealousy’.

  1. interesting....
you sound like a political worker ...a smart and an outspoken one...who really know how and when to attack the rival party... ...are you really into school politics..??..i hope you are not..
or you are you simply upset and frustrated because the policies and rules imposed are way too strict and not allowing freedom of action and speech?

anyways...KU has a very big heart...anyone and everyone is allowed to move freely on campus as long as there is no fighting and clashes or any other negative and/or 'disharmonizing' activity on campus...

talking about dogs...we have a prof who bring her dog to class ...its a cute one ...not more than 2 feet tall...and he sits next to the computer desk and listens to everything quietly....better than most students...

a very well written blog....keep up the good work...cheers...
